Another attack on Christianity: Jesus wasn't resurrected.

As is common with Christianity, folks constantly attack it. We, Christians, know this is to be expected. For many centuries, Satan has attempted to discredit God's Word and foil God's plan. Satan tried this in the Garden of Eden and it didn't work. Despite knowing his very end, Satan continues to try and foil the will of God. While no man or devil can do this, some people are once again attempting to foil the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

James Cameron, a Hollywood movie director/producer(yes, I know what you are thinking), and his director, Simcha Jacobovici, are claiming that they have found Jesus' coffin and 9 other coffins that are part of Jesus' family. They say they can prove this through "DNA tests, archaeological evidence and Biblical studies." How they can figure out the DNA was Jesus' is beyond me? How could a poor carpenter family afford stone caskets for their family is once again puzzling? How they say Biblical studies has further confirmed their findings is also quite amusing. Not sure what Bible they are reading or referring to, but my King James Bible says Jesus died, was buried and rose again the third day. It later speaks of His accession into heaven. So, it stands to reason that much- OK all of this is hogwash. That said, we as Christians must realize that people will attack this way and it shouldn't shake our faith, but rather strengthen it.

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."

1 Timothy 3:1-7
