A new App that is a parallel bible (comparative) reader has been published for the iPhone in January of 2009. It is title the "Even Word" and it contains the King James, Amplified, NIV, NLT and many more, including from over 40 languages and 70 translations.

Built by Kammyland Software, it can be purchased on iTunes.

I installed it on my Palm Centro. The battery life indicator seems to "twitch" and the signal strength doesn't appear on screen at all. Maybe not entirely compatible. But it works very well. I only with that the "TV" icon was available so that I could assign my SprintTV to it.

I would like to see a way to open the Bible directly with tapping rather than typing and formatted for the iPhone. For instance, have a menu bar that you can choose version, book, chapter, and verse. Once you've selected these, you hit go and you've opened the Bible to that passage of Scripture. That would make eBible more useful for me.
