I've been waiting for the windows version of Handbrake and it looks like they have one out now. (It may have been out for a while, I don't know...) However, Handbrake allows you to rip movies from your DVDs so you can view them on your iPod, Zune, Apple TV, and many other mobile devices. I'll be trying this with my Lifedrive and see how well the converted file works with Core Player. I certainly enjoy taking a movie with me while on the go and many times it has been a life saving with my boys!
Handbrake is freeware and is still in beta.
