OK, this looks very fun and I'm dying to try it. Somebody has come up with a way to make an 120 decibel air horn using only a film canister, balloon, straw, and scissors. You can watch a video of it here. I thought this might be an impressive sermon illustration or activity/craft for your kids. Considering many of us probably have a fun film canisters left over from those 35mm days, you should be able to do this will little trouble at all. The hardest part is cutting the holes in the film canister. Do check out the video as it will answer a lot of your questions. Have fun!
