Will Palm use Accesses ALP OS for the future devices?

ACCESS ALP hits 1.0 and with that comes more details and specs. You can follow the link and read all about it at Engadget. I keep wondering what Palm will use as Garnett, while still a decent OS, is old and needing a fresh look. Will Palm use ALP? I really don't know. Since it does offer support for Palm applications, one would think that Palm could easily put this on their devices. Many have also speculated that Palm is developing their own OS. Whether or not this is true is also unknown. Palm has probably one of the best smartphone designs out there and one that is being copied by many manufacturers. Palm could be around for a few more years, but I think that only will be in the next Palm OS can compete will Windows Mobile and Mac OSX, if it cannot then we will surely see Palm rapidly decline.
